For our latest MMU DNA project, we teamed up with Elle Magazine and six individuals to explore — and celebrate — the spectrum of femininity.

Big brows are more than just a trend for model Natalia Castellar Calvani. “They’re all about me accepting and embracing my cultural background and where I come from,” she says. “I definitely get judged for my looks. I can post a selfie on Instagram and five minutes later get a DM that says, ‘Are you a man?’ I don’t think anyone should let anyone control how they feel about themselves. Self-love isn’t something that comes overnight; it’s something that comes over time.”
